Bannered under Dharma Productions, Good News is creating a buzz among fans since the day it was announced. The film is bringing an exciting star cast – Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani together. Reportedly, the main plot is based on a couple trying to conceive a baby. After years of Gabbar is Back, Akshay and Kareena are playing husband-wife once again. Diljit and Kiara’s characters are yet be revealed.
Today, Diljit Dosanjh shared a video on Twitter where the actor and Kiara Advani are gearing up for the first-day shoot in Chandigarh. Kiara is holding the Clapboard, while Diljit is taking a final attendance of Director Raj Mehta, cast and crew. The actor also mentioned Akshay Kumar punctuality on sets, how they are missing Kareena- Akshay in the shooting and wish to see them soon!

Akshay Kumar is currently busy with 2.0 promotions and Karan Johar being a co-producer of the epic 3D sci-fi action film is not concerned much about the actor’s delayed availability on the sets of Good News. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay are expected to join the cast and crew of the upcoming drama comedy soon.
Breaking the pattern of larger than life, International filming locations by Dharma Productions, Good News will be majorly shot in Chandigarh, India. The film will also mark Raj Mehta’s first movie as Director. Well, there’s a lot to make viewers high on an adrenaline rush with ultimate drama comedy including such fantastic star cast!
Good News is scheduled to hit the silver screen on 19 July 2019.
